Since the inception of the 1st Teachers' Workshop which began as an in-house educational event at the Sheldon Heights Church of Christ, our purpose has been and continues to be to use our time, talents, and love of teaching God's Word to encourage and expand the knowledge and skills of teachers, regardless of whether they are Bible Class teachers who formally teach in the Lord's church or diligent members who enjoy Bible study and teach their family members, co-workers, neighbors, and others through personal Bible studies and by example through the spiritual lives they live.
Since 1985, God blessed this first effort to grow from an in-house event into a Midwest Teachers' Workshop (MTW), and now to a National Teachers' Workshop (NTW), and for that we are grateful and give all glory to our Lord and Savior.
The NTW Board of Directors are looking forward with great anticipation to having your participation at the 2022 National Teachers' Workshop Thursday, April 7th-Saturday, April 9th on-site at the Marriott-Naperville, IL or virtually via Zoom or YouTube.
After a long period of living through a pandemic which forced us to be physically apart, we are confident that you will not want to miss this great event, and trust that you have already started making plans to attend, hopefully in person. The 2022 NTW theme will be "Soul Vaccination: Injecting Scripture Into Contemporary Culture."
We encourage EVERYONE, Bible Class Teachers, Education Ministry Administrators, staff and members who want to explore God's Word and grow in your personal development to plan to be part of this year's event.
We are planning an exciting, socially-distanced, safe, informative, and interactive learning event that will bless the lives of all who attend, whether on-site or online. We do, however, need your help. We are asking you to view this website to see what workshops are being offered and REGISTER TODAY! Your prompt registration will help us provide effective, efficient, and successful conference. Share the information other teachers, members, and friends, so they too, can REGISTER TODAY for this blessed, educational event! Contact the host congregation, Sheldon Heights Church of Christ (773) 568-2929 with any questions you have.
We look forward to seeing you in the Chicago Area for the 2022 NTW, hopefully in person, but if not in person, we hope to see you virtually. God bless you in your extremely important ministry of teaching and learning.
