Description

It’s not always easy to bring lessons to life inside a classroom. Sometimes, it feels like students need more — a chance to use all their senses, to see, hear, and feel what they’re learning about.

Prague offers that chance: the history of the city, the art, and stories make it the perfect place to turn learning into something real.

This course will help teachers use the city as a living classroom; participants will explore how to design activities that get students engaged — through history, storytelling, art, and basic digital tools.

Participants will walk through Prague’s streets, visit its landmarks, and uncover stories and details that most people miss. They will learn how to build activities around what the city offers — whether that’s a scavenger hunt, storytelling walks, or a creative activity inspired by a work of art.

The course covers the use of photography and soundscapes to capture the soul of the city, as well as methods for leading students through interactive educational activities that relate history and culture to the present.

By the end of the course, participants will have gained the skills and confidence necessary to create engaging, multisensory learning experiences for their students.

They will become proficient in using creative technologies, storytelling, and art to foster engagement and bring history to life.

With hands-on resources and innovative ideas at their disposal, participants will be able to transform any environment into an inspiring educational adventure that encourages curiosity and meaningful learning outside the classroom.
