Even in locations where we have dedicated classrooms, we may occasionally need to rent external spaces nearby, and the availability of services may vary. Kids, pets, or guests within the school premises must be approved by email each time. Whether or not our premises are marked as wheelchair accessible, we kindly ask you to inform us in advance. Our Cultural Activities
The following cultural activity is included in the price of each Erasmus course in Stockholm:
A Live-Guided Sightseeing Tour through Stockholm’s Stunning Archipelago
Join us for a beautiful 1.5-hour guided boat tour aboard one of Stockholm’s classic archipelago ships. This tour is the perfect way to experience the best of Stockholm’s natural and cultural beauty from the water.
During the cruise, you will discover the vast and unique Stockholm archipelago, which consists of nearly 30,000 islands, islets, and skerries.
The live guide on board, speaking both Swedish and English, will share fascinating insights into the history, culture, and landscape of the archipelago as you pass by picturesque villages, green islands, and historic buildings.
This tour offers the ideal combination of relaxation and learning, providing a true sense of Stockholm’s identity as a city built on and around the water.
Food and Drinks on Board
The archipelago boats feature a comfortable café where you can purchase sandwiches, pastries, snacks, and drinks, including coffee, tea, soft drinks, beer, and wine. Enjoy your refreshments while taking in panoramic views of the islands and the city skyline.
Alternative (in case of bad weather)
If the weather does not allow for the boat tour, participants will have the opportunity to visit the world-famous Vasa Museum instead.
This extraordinary museum houses the 17th-century warship Vasa, which sank on its maiden voyage and was recovered almost fully intact after 333 years underwater.
Fika Experience – Like a Local
Experience one of Sweden’s most beloved traditions: Fika.
This cozy and social ritual is much more than just a coffee break. It is an essential part of Swedish life where people slow down, connect, and enjoy good company with a cup of coffee and something sweet.
We will visit a traditional local café known for its warm atmosphere and freshly baked pastries.
You will sample some of Sweden’s best-loved treats, from classic kanelbullar (cinnamon buns) to chokladbollar and cardamom-infused cakes, while learning about the cultural meaning behind Fika and its role in everyday Swedish life.
This is your chance to experience Stockholm like a local: relaxed, authentic, and delicious.

How to reach us
Stockholm is served by many airports, making it one of the most accessible cities in Northern Europe.
Whether you’re arriving from within Scandinavia or across the globe, there are plenty of flight options — from major international hubs to budget-friendly connections.
Stockholm is also well linked to the rest of Sweden and its Nordic neighbors by a network of fast, reliable trains.
By plane:
- Arlanda Airport – ARN, is the main international airport, which offers long-haul flights and has the Arlanda Express train to Stockholm (18 min trip) and costs approximately 340 SEK (approx. 30€).
- Bromma Airport – BMA, is the most central, though it is small and has fewer international routes, and is more for domestic flights.
- Stockholm Skavsta Airport – NYO is focused on budget flights mainly from Europe; however, it will take an additional 80-minute bus trip to reach the city of Stockholm.
