Even in locations where we have dedicated classrooms, we may occasionally need to rent external spaces nearby, and the availability of services may vary. Kids, pets, or guests within the school premises must be approved by email each time. Whether or not our premises are marked as wheelchair accessible, we kindly ask you to inform us in advance. If accessibility is an issue, we will arrange for an external classroom to accommodate your course. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Our boat trip along the Ljubljanica River offers stunning views of the city’s famous landmarks, like the Dragon Bridge and Ljubljana Castle, while cruising through its picturesque green surroundings.
Also, enjoy a relaxing city train ride, taking you through the historical streets and past key attractions, with guided commentary highlighting the rich history and vibrant culture of Slovenia’s capital.
Additional information will be provided with the definitive schedule, two weeks before the course starts, as well as on the first day of the course, when you will receive the final details.

All our teacher training courses in Ljubljana will take place either in the morning (9.00-14.00) or in the afternoon (14.00-19.00), depending on classroom and trainer availability.
The final schedule will be sent two weeks before the course begins. We recommend planning any cultural activities only after receiving it.
Ljubljana is served by Jože Pučnik Ljubljana Airport (LJU), located approximately 26 kilometers from the city center.
You can reach the city center from the airport by various means of transportation, such as taxi, airport shuttle, public transportation, and car rental.

A city of culture, Ljubljana is home to multiple museums, theatres, and galleries, and is proud to have one of the oldest philharmonic orchestras in the world. The people of Ljubljana breathe culture and for them, it is both a way of living and thinking as well as an essential part of everyday life.
Also known as the Dragon City, the dragon is the symbol of Ljubljana, representing the strength, wisdom, and courage of its people.
You will find dragons throughout the city and according to legend the Ljubljana Dragon protects the city and brings good luck to those who rub its statue, so keep an eye out!

In the heart of Ljubljana is where this impressive cathedral is found.
Whether it’s the outside architecture that captures your eye or one of the many other striking features, from the bronze sculptured doors, you can see from when you first enter the cathedral with designs that illustrate Slovenian history along with portraits of the bishops of Ljubljana or inside from detailed frescoes painted on the ceiling, and the organ.
If you are interested in supporting local businesses and tasting fresh produce or buying souvenirs for loved ones the central market offers a selection of delicacies.
The outdoor section of the market sells a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as Slovenian souvenirs and gifts, while the indoor market (Plecnik’s Covered Market) sells local cheeses, and homemade baked goods such as bread, pastries, and more.
The Old Town showcases iconic landmarks like the Triple Bridge-Tromostovje, the Dragon Bridge-Zmajski Most, and the Butchers Bridge, each contributing to the area’s rich architectural heritage. Take a moment to appreciate the elegance of the Franciscan Church amidst the historical surroundings.
Wandering through Ljubljana’s Old Town offers a genuine experience of the city’s essence.
This popular green space is loved by both locals and tourists alike and is the only marsh in Slovenia, that covers more than 300 hectares. This recreational park varies in its landscape with botanical gardens, a fishpond, and tree-lined walking paths.
Whether you prefer a stroll or are looking for the perfect picnic spot, Tivoli Park offers a great break from the city atmosphere and a chance to relax in nature and wildlife.

When Ljubljana was being further constructed as the nation’s new capital, famous architect Jože Plečnik (1872-1957) was appointed to help design the city, he combined modern approaches while also basing the city on ancient Athens.
‘Plečnik’s Ljubljana’ now refers to Plečnik’s array of creations in Ljubljana and is one of the 20th century’s most quintessential and significant total works of art. With its landmarks included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
His most notable works include, but are not limited to: the National and University Library building, the Ljubljanica river embankments and bridges i.e. The Triple Bridge and the Cobblers’ Bridge, the Central Market, the Križanke Summer Theatre, the Bežigrad Stadium, and the Church of St. Michael in the Marshes.
If you want to see what the city visually has to offer whilst doing something active in the warmer months, exploring by paddleboarding on the Ljubljianica River is highly recommended.
Your paddleboard journey will follow the river that runs through the entirety of the old city and will show you a variety of unique views of Ljubljana like the castle and have the opportunity to glide under the famous Three Bridges of Jože Plečnik and catch the eye of the local sights.
Lake Bled makes for the perfect day trip and is worth the visit.
Surrounded by forests and mountains is the famous Lake Bled, 6km in length of turquoise waters with a small island in the middle of the lake and a cathedral in which you can walk around and is accessible by swimming to or by boat.
A chance to experience and take a journey through how Ljubljana’s most beloved beer is produced and learn about the rich history of the Pivovarna Union brewery.
With the opportunity to use VR goggles as a part of this adventure watch firsthand how the brewery makes their beer today. Another suitable option for a rainy day or if you’re a beer lover.
